Surface Combat Systems Instructor

CJSeto Support Services (CJS), a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is pursuing a requirement by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) to provide Instructor Support, Curriculum Support, Learning Standards Office Support, Training Aids/Device Support, Analysis and Development Support, Program Management Services, and International Program Support across the Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS).  These training and instructor services are primarily performed in Dahlgren, VA but instructor support is also required in Norfolk VA, Wallops Island VA, Everett WA, San Diego CA, and Pearl Harbor HI. Training locations will also include the Shipyards, Fleet Surface Ships and Forward Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF).  Under this contract, the contractor shall provide training and instructor support for:
 
a. Auxiliary Systems (AUX)
b. AN/SPY-1
c. Command, Control, Computers, Communication, and Intelligence (C4I)
d. Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems (ASW)
e. Ship Self Defense System (SSDS)
f. Navigation
g. Aegis Computer Network Technician (ACNT)
h. Close-In Weapon System (CIWS)
i. Embedded Training System (ETS)
j. Vertical Launch System (VLS)
k.Surface Vessel Torpedo Tube (SVTT)
l. Advanced Warfare Training (AWT)
m.Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)
n.Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)
o.Force Air Defense Planner (FADP)
p.Force Air Defense Operator (FADO)
q.Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI)
r.Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI)
s.Link Monitoring and Management Tools (LMMT)

CJS is looking now for qualified instructors with SECRET clearances or eligible for a Secret clearance within  a 180 days for contingent hire (July 2016 start date) for the following positions:
 

Instructor Tier III

  1. Nine (9) years of experience with the required system or process as either a maintenance technician manager or operator manager with responsibility for teaching the applicable system or function task to others in a master level training environment.  For Waterfront instructors, experience should include support of Surface, Subsurface, Air, Strike, C4I, and Ballistic Missile Defense.
  2. Two (2) years of experience as an instructor in a Navy Training Environment, to include curriculum maintenance, writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials and the results of instruction and counseling students on academic learning problems.
  3. Two (2) years relevant experience interfacing with training systems/simulations for effective and correct presentation of learning objectives.
 
Instructor Tier II
  1. Six (6) years of experience with the required system or process as either a maintenance technician supervisor or operator supervisor with responsibility for teaching the applicable system or function task to others in a journeyman level training environment.
  2. Two (2) years of experience as an instructor in a Navy Training Environment, to include curriculum maintenance, writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials and the results of instruction and counseling students on academic learning problems.
 
Instructor Tier I
  1. Three (3) years of experience with the required system or process as either a maintenance technician or operator with responsibility for teaching the applicable system or function task to others in an apprentice level training environment.
  2. One (1) year experience as an instructor in a Navy Training Environment, to include curriculum maintenance, writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials and the results of instruction and counseling students on academic learning problems.
 International Programs Instructor
  1. Three (3) years of experience with the Surface Combat Systems as either a maintenance technician or operator with responsibility for teaching the system to others.
  2. One (1) year experience as instructor in a Naval Training Environment, to include writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials and the results of instruction and counseling students on academic learning problems.
